Can we walk in and bowl?

Yes, anytime we have lanes available you can simply walk in and bowl. You are welcome to call in ahead to check on our availability or see our website to make a reservation to guarantee you a spot at the time of your choice. If we are busy you may have to wait for the next available lane.

How many games do four people need to buy?

Four people would need four total games or one game each. Each person must purchase their own games if game bowling. Bowlers can not share games they much each have their own to complete a game of bowling.

Can shoe rentals be shared?

If you do not have your own pair of bowling shoes you must rent a pair from the center. The only exemptions to this are children with shoe sizes under Youth 8 and people with physical limitations that require them to wear custom shoe wear from their doctor (example would be a walking boot). Shoes cannot be shared to ensure that the guest is always wearing bowling shoes to avoid risk of falling while bowling or damaging the playing areas. Shoes may also not be worn outside. If at any time you step in a spill or get your shoes wet, you may exchange them for another pair at the desk.

Can you reserve a lane in advance?

Yes, you can book a lane online in advance. You are required to pay for the bowling in advance. If you give 24 hours’ notice your bowling can be refunded in the event of a needed cancellation. Reservations can also be moved to another date if there is availability. Please arrive 45 minutes early for your reservation.

Can you add time / games to an advance reservation?

If we are not on a waiting list or do not have a reservation behind you, we do allow you to extend your play. If we do not have availability to do so we will not allow you, however.

Can you bring outside food or drinks?

No, per the health code and out of respect to our employees we do not allow outside food or drinks. Anyone in violation of this may be asked to leave without refund.

Can you bring in outside alcoholic beverages?

No this is a violation of our liquor licenses. Anyone found with outside alcohol is subject to being asked to leave without refund.

Can anyone join a league? How can they do it?

Yes, we have many different leagues for all types of bowlers. You can fill out a league form at the desk or fill out our league form on our website.

Can you rent out the entire center?

Yes, you can rent out the entire center. You will need to contact Ashley.Vincent@bowlkingpin.com to ask about availability and pricing.

Who is allowed to have bumpers?

Bumpers are only allowed for bowlers under 12 years of age. Anyone older will not be allowed to use them to ensure they do not cause damage to the equipment.

Who is allowed a 6lb bowling ball?

Our lightest bowling ball is 6lbs. You can find these behind the desk by asking a front desk worker for one. They are saved for children under 9 years old to ensure older kids and adults do not use them which can result in damage to bowl bowling balls. Parties with multiple kids may ask for up to two light weight bowling balls per lane they have.

How many people can bowl on a lane?

We allow up to 6 people at a time to bowl on a lane. Groups with more than 6 will need to rent additional lanes.

When do the bar and café close?

The lounge will close 30 minutes before the center closes and the Café will close 45 minutes before the center closes. We will give a 30-minute warning announcement and a 10-minute warning announcement prior. If for any reason we must close before then we will make an announcement warning guest of that.

Where can we sit when we bowl?

We have 2 types of seating at Kingpin. We have long couches down near the lanes and tall tables directly behind the couches. In the case you are sharing a pair of lanes one group gets each. The lane with the couch (example Lane 1 gets the couch) gets that and the lane without a couch (example Lane 2) gets the tall table. In the case your group has both lanes then you can use all the seating. If you have a lane without a couch but the lane with the couch is empty you may use it until we sell that lane. Then we ask you to allow the other group to use it as well unless another arrangement has been agreed to by the two groups. If you would prefer a different arrangement, you may ask the desk about being moved to another lane, but we cannot guarantee that we will have any available with the exact seating situation you desire.
